Mucha tinta ha corrido desde que Robert Zemeckis, en 1994, estrenó Forrest Gump; la película estadounidense que fue revolucionaria en la manera de ver y explicar la historia de ese país. Muchas son las lecciones de vida que hemos disfrutado de ella, sin embargo, para mí, la lección más importante es: La autenticidad.
En esta corta participación, quiero compartir, más una reflexión que un análisis.
Más, junto a la cantidad de letras que se han escrito sobre la película, y sin tocar la temática de la misma, su producción y análisis de tipo cinematográfico o artístico; he querido que mi participación en esta dinámica Cine Foro: 2do Encuentros de Bienestar [ESP-ENG], en la iniciativa de 
Se trata de la lección más importante, que en mí, ha significado la película; que es “La autenticidad”, el valor de ser auténtico; lo que implica esto en la vida moderna y en las relaciones entre los seres humanos.
Los mensajes de Forrest Gump
Es evidente comprender, que la película nos llena de resiliencia; que inculca, que una actitud de solución ante las situaciones problemáticas es necesaria y vital en el mundo moderno para poder crecer. Que no podemos quedarnos a vivir en el pasado y que tenemos que mostrarnos siempre con la actitud más positiva que podamos generar.
Con esta película aprendemos lecciones como, que es importante ser uno mismo y que, a pesar de que valoremos la opinión de los demás, estas no deben ser determinantes en nuestras acciones. Igualmente, que debemos darnos la oportunidad de crecer, siempre motivándonos, buscando salidas, actuando.
Y por último, desde mi punto de vista, esta historia tan bien narrada, nos enseña que nuestro trato puede ser igualitario hacia todos y que por lo tanto, la experiencia y el aprendizaje que cualquier ser humano tiene, puede ser una importante brújula para nuestro propio camino.

Ser uno mismo
En medio de tantas circunstancias, Forrest Gump fue auténtico; y es el mensaje más importante que ofrece su vida.
El actuar sin filtros, el ser fiel a lo que uno es; el ir eligiendo en la medida en que vamos creciendo nuestros objetivos y nuestras creencias en base a nuestra tranquilidad, satisfacción y a la capacidad de crear confianza interior.
La valoración que hacemos de nuestra familia, que nos permite sentirnos en un mundo propio; y de las relaciones de amistad que a lo largo de nuestras vidas vamos creando, que nos ayudan a generar en nosotros relaciones de autenticidad.
Saber lo que somos y que actuamos por nuestras propia responsabilidad, es importante para crear relaciones valientes, duraderas y sólidas.
La autenticidad como valor
La autenticidad es un valor que refleja a una persona verdadera, aquella que tiene la responsabilidad de lo que hace y de lo que siente; que es sincera y coherente consigo misma; y por lo tanto, con los demás es ella, sin filtros.
Ya mucho hemos escuchado y leído sobre lo importante que es ser auténtico a la hora de tener un emprendimiento o de crear contenido en una red social; y siempre hablamos de esto; pero, en nuestra vida, en nuestro diario quehacer, el valor de la autenticidad es sumamente importante para ir gestando relaciones fieles.
Una persona congruente con lo que hace y piensa, es, al final, una persona feliz que disfruta o vive cada una de las fases que la vida le permite vivir, y que también va aprendiendo de ellas.
Mediante la autenticidad vamos creando y enseñando a otros lecciones de vida; porque nadie es igual a los demás; por lo tanto, tus lecciones pueden, en un momento determinado, transformarse en lecciones de vida que le sirvan a otros.
¿Retratamos a Forrest Gump? Claro que sí.
Este personaje central de la historia que nos ofrece Zemeckis en el cine, expone en forma simple y detallada lo que es y significa ser auténtico en medio de una sociedad obsesionada con patrones y etiquetas, donde la autenticidad es posible que no se consiga debido al empatronamiento (entrar en patrones) en el que nos piden que vivamos, para poder estar a la moda o actualizados; para ser aceptados.
Gump no necesitó ser aceptado para cumplir su cometido de vida; solo fue.
Forrest aplica valores inculcados a las relaciones; las basa en el respeto al otro, en el cariño generado. Supone actuar con lo que tiene, sin pretensiones, a pesar de las evaluaciones despectivas de otros.
Sin embargo, vemos que la reacción de aceptación de la gente ante películas cómo ésta, que exponen a la autenticidad como, prácticamente, la protagonista de toda una trama amplia, por cierto; nos está diciendo a gritos que el ser humano está necesitado de cultivar ser él mismo; y para cultivar eso, es necesario conocernos, saber lo que queremos, hacia dónde vamos y, sobre todo, tener en nosotros la capacidad de sentirnos bien; de comprendernos amorosamente y tratarnos bien.
Necesitamos relacionarnos con honestidad
Las comunicaciones que fomentamos con autenticidad nos acercan al otro y nos forjan deseos y necesidades más profundas, cada vez más, de crecimiento y de conocimiento integro.
Esto hace que, al final, vivamos plenamente; pues tu estado de ánimo, tu creatividad, tu deseo de vivir, va a verse energizado porque dejamos de pretender lo que no somos para comenzar a ser lo que somos y queremos ser.
Para mí, la película amerita convertirse en una obligada experiencia de vida para el espectador; por lo tanto, no es necesario hablar sobre su temática ni sobre los eventos que allí se plantean; hay que vivenciarlos en la cinta.
Y es que esta obra del cine moderno, invita a gestionar, con calidad, el valor de ser uno mismo, de ser auténtico, de crear y fortalecer relaciones sociales basándonos en el principio de la honestidad.
Authenticity: A great life lesson in "Forrest Gump"

A lot of ink has flowed since Robert Zemeckis, in 1994, released Forrest Gump; the American movie that was revolutionary in the way of seeing and explaining the history of that country. Many are the life lessons we have enjoyed from it, however, for me, the most important lesson is: Authenticity.
In this short participation, I want to share more of a reflection than an analysis.
It is true that there is a lot of material; and it is enough to read on the net about Forrest Gump, the amount of exposed life lessons that we can get from that wonderful movie, which has excellent performances and a broad theme, which includes much of the historicity of North America and America in general.
More, along with the amount of letters that have been written about the film, and without touching the thematic of the same, its production and analysis of cinematographic or artistic type; I wanted my participation in this dynamic Cine Foro: 2nd Encounters of Wellbeing [ESP-ENG], in the initiative of
It is about the most important lesson, that in me, the film has meant; which is "Authenticity", the value of being authentic; what this implies in modern life and in the relationships between human beings
The messages of Forrest Gump
It is evident to understand that the film fills us with resilience; that it instills, that an attitude of solution to problematic situations is necessary and vital in the modern world in order to grow. That we cannot stay in the past and that we must always show ourselves with the most positive attitude we can generate.
With this film we learn lessons such as, that it is important to be yourself and that, although we value the opinion of others, these should not be determinant in our actions. Likewise, that we must give ourselves the opportunity to grow, always motivating ourselves, looking for ways out, acting.
And finally, from my point of view, this story, so well narrated, teaches us that our treatment can be equal to everyone and that therefore, the experience and learning that any human being has, can be an important compass for our own path.

Be yourself
In the midst of so many circumstances, Forrest Gump was authentic; and that is the most important message his life offers.
Acting without filters, being true to who you are; choosing as we grow our goals and our beliefs based on our peace of mind, satisfaction and the ability to create inner confidence.
The value we place on our family, which allows us to feel we are in a world of our own; and the friendships that we create throughout our lives, which help us to generate relationships of authenticity.
Knowing what we are, and that we act on our own responsibility is important to create courageous, lasting and solid relationships.
Authenticity as a value
Authenticity is a value that reflects a true person, one who takes responsibility for what she does and what she feels; who is sincere and coherent with herself; and therefore, with others, she is herself without filters.
We have already heard and read a lot about how important it is to be authentic when it comes to having a business or creating content in a social network; and we always talk about this; but, in our life, in our daily work, the value of authenticity is extremely important to build loyal relationships.
A person who is congruent with what he does and thinks, is, in the end, a happy person who enjoys or lives each of the phases that life allows him to live, and who also learns from them.
Through authenticity we create and teach life lessons to others; because no one is the same as anyone else; therefore, your lessons can, at a given moment, be transformed into life lessons that can be useful to others.
Did we portray Forrest Gump? Of course we did.
This central character of the story that Zemeckis offers us in film, exposes in a simple and detailed way what it is and means to be authentic in the midst of a society obsessed with patterns and labels, where authenticity may not be achieved due to the empathronamiento (entering patterns) in which we are asked to live, in order to be fashionable or updated; to be accepted.
Gump didn't need to be accepted to fulfill his life's mission; he just was.
Forrest applies inculcated values to relationships; he bases them on respect for the other, on the affection generated. It involves acting with what he has, without pretense, despite the derogatory evaluations of others.
However, we see that people's reaction of acceptance to films like this one, which expose authenticity as, practically, the protagonist of a whole wide plot, by the way; is telling us loudly that human beings need to cultivate being themselves; and to cultivate that, it is necessary to know ourselves, to know what we want, where we are going and, above all, to have in us the capacity to feel good; to understand ourselves lovingly and treat ourselves well.
We need to relate with honesty
The communications that we promote with authenticity bring us closer to each other and forge deeper and deeper desires and needs for growth and integral knowledge.
This makes us, in the end, live fully, because your mood, your creativity, your desire to live; will be energized because we stop pretending to be what we are not and start being what we are and want to be.
For me, the film deserves to become an obligatory life experience for the viewer; therefore, it is not necessary to talk about its subject matter or about the events that are presented there; they must be experienced in the film.
And the fact is that this work of modern cinema invites us to manage, with quality, the value of being oneself, of being authentic, of creating and strengthening social relationships based on the principle of honesty.
