Un saludo muy cordial para todos mis amigos de esta maravillosa Comunidad de Gems, hoy vengo a compartirles un increíble paseo en familia y donde pudimos conocer el parque oasis, un centro acuático ubicado en el Camino Las Parcelas 31-B,Isla de Maipo, Región Metropolitana(a unos 45 minutos de Santiago Centro).

A very warm greeting to all my friends in this wonderful Gems Community. Today I'm here to share an incredible family outing where we visited Oasis Park, an aquatic center located at Camino Las Parcelas 31-B, Isla de Maipo, Metropolitan Region (about 45 minutes from downtown Santiago).

Comenzaré por decirles que el parque Oasis es uno de los centros recreativos y acuáticos más importantes de la región Metropolitana de Chile, es un lugar de gestión privada administrado por la familia Arraztoa-Larenas, quienes adquirieron este terreno en el año 2007 y lo transformaron en un complejo que hoy en día cuenta con 12 hectáreas con lugares perfectamente delimitados con 6 piscinas y toboganes tanto para niños como para adultos, también posee lugares para hacer parrillas/quinchos, canchas deportivas de football, un lugar para Camping, para este hay que hacer reservaciones, un lugar de reposo, este maravilloso parque es el lugar perfecto para pasar un día en familia, alejados del ajetreo de la ciudad, del trabajo y de la cotidianidad.

I'll begin by telling you that Oasis Park is one of the most important recreational and aquatic centers in the Metropolitan Region of Chile. It's a privately managed park run by the Arraztoa-Larenas family, who acquired the land in 2007 and transformed it into a complex that now covers 12 hectares with clearly defined areas, including six swimming pools and water slides for both children and adults. It also has barbecue areas, soccer fields, a campground (reservations required), and a rest area. This wonderful park is the perfect place to spend a day with the family, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, work, and everyday life.
Una de las cosas que más llamó mi atención es que las piscinas las llenan con agua de un río que atraviesa completamente el parque, así que todos los días las vacían a las 6 y 30 pm y vuelven el agua al río, y en la mañana abren las compuertas y las piscinas se vuelven a llenar, así que estas piscinas funcionan con agua del río.
One of the things that caught my attention the most is that the pools are filled with water from a river that runs completely through the park, so every day they empty them at 6:30 pm and return the water to the river, and in the morning they open the floodgates and the pools fill up again, so these pools run on river water.

En otras áreas podemos encontrar toboganes tanto para niños como para adultos, incluso hay una dónde se pueden ver a padres y niños disfrutando de esa adrenalina de saltar en estos toboganes de gran tamaño, pero todo el tiempo hay personal capacitado para cuidar de todos los visitantes del lugar, incluso hay un equipo de paramedicos que hace rondas por todo el lugar.

In other areas we can find slides for both children and adults; there is even one where you can see parents and children enjoying the adrenaline rush of jumping on these large slides. But at all times there is trained staff to take care of all the visitors to the place, and there is even a team of paramedics that makes rounds throughout the place.

Como ya les comente es un lugar para pasar el día en familia, hay lugares para hacer parrillas, y también hay sitios donde venden comidas, hamburguesas, perros calientes, pizzas, salchipapas, refrescos, café helados, hay un a cancha para fútbol ⚽, quede fascinada por este lugar y por eso se los quise compartir.

As I already mentioned, it's a place to spend the day with the family. There are places to grill, and there are also places that sell food, hamburgers, hot dogs, pizzas, salchipapas (fries with sausage), soft drinks, iced coffee, and there's a soccer field ⚽. I was fascinated by this place and that's why I wanted to share it with you.
