In these times of great evil and heartrending despair
Look up to God, our Father, for he is there
He is always willing to help us in times of fear
For he is our strong refuge and source of power.
He is there for you always, of that do not doubt
You just have to seek Him and don’t be frown,
For when He sees that to Him your whole life you entrust
He will infuse you with His unassailable might.
Call now to Him, what are you waiting for?
Do you not have genuine faith in your Creator?
Seek His guidance, His divine counsel hear
And you will find yourself under His unfailing care.
“Who am I that God Almighty will heed my plea?
Like everyone else I have sinned aplenty”.
“You have been redeemed”, God answers your query.
The precious blood of Christ purchased you from iniquity.
