Ella es presentada como un personaje increíble que termina siendo la antagonista en esta gran película. La verdad me encantó; nunca había estado tan al pendiente del estreno de una película de One Piece, ¡estuve un mes entero esperando a que se estrenara en Latam! 🌎✨
Hi everyone! How’s it going? I’m back with a new illustration! This time, I wanted to draw one of the most incredible characters from One Piece Film Red: Uta. She’s such an amazing character who ends up being the antagonist of this great movie. Honestly, I loved her; I’ve never been so hyped for a One Piece movie release—I spent a whole month waiting for the Latam premiere! 🌎✨
Para este dibujo no tenía una idea fija, pero últimamente he visto muchos personajes de anime con estilo urbano, esa moda de ropa holgada y estética moderna. Por eso, me puse rápidamente con la tableta a dibujar. ✍️
For this drawing, I didn’t have a fixed idea at first, but lately, I’ve been seeing a lot of anime characters in urban style—that baggy clothing and modern aesthetic. So, I grabbed my tablet and got to work! ✍️
Empecé con un lineart definido buscando esa base "semi-urbana". Lo que más se me dificultó fueron los moños de atrás; son como lazos de pelo, pero no debían ser tan gruesos, manteniendo ese estilo de "orejas de conejo" tan único de Uta. ¡Hice el intento y me gustó cómo quedó! El abrigo fue más sencillo gracias a correcciones que aprendí de dibujos anteriores. 🧥🐰
I started with a clean lineart, aiming for that "semi-urban" base. The hardest part was definitely the bows in the back; they are like hair loops, but they couldn't be too thick, keeping that unique "rabbit ear" style that Uta has. I gave it a shot, and I love how they turned out! The jacket was easier thanks to some corrections I learned from previous drawings. 🧥🐰
En el coloreado, empecé por la piel y luego pasé al suéter. Ahí tuve un poco de "lucha" y algo de lío con las particiones de colores entre claros y oscuros, pero logré sacarlo adelante. Después seguí con las partes blancas, el cinturón y los detalles de oro en los auriculares. 🎧✨
Regarding the coloring, I started with the skin and then moved to the sweater. I had a bit of a "struggle" there with the color partitions between lights and shadows, but I managed to make it work! Then, I continued with the white parts, the belt, and the gold details on the headphones. 🎧✨
Lo que más me gustó fue la parte roja del pelo; ¡hizo que el dibujo resaltara por completo! Al final, elegí un fondo oscuro con un toque urbano y agregué luces con una capa de "multiplicar" para que se viera mucho mejor. 🌑💡
My favorite part was the red side of her hair; it made the whole drawing pop! Finally, I chose a dark urban background and added some lighting effects using a "multiply" layer to make everything look even better. 🌑💡
