As a feeling of satisfaction or happiness, contentment is all about forgetting what you don't have presently and concentrating on and making do with what you have. It has to do with adjustment of personal conduct rather than looking at it from the perspective of having got everything you desire in life.
We need to be contented with what we currently have and hope on God to take you to the next level. A parable says, Rome was not built in a day. No matter your current situation, rather than nagging or complaining, be thankful to God. It can only get better.
If you imbibe the virtue of contentment, you can never be miserable in your life. Contentment is a time-tested principle and virtue. It helps avoid greed.
