Saludos queridos y apreciados amigos, un gusto y un gran placer el saludarlos el día de hoy, en esta oportunidad les quiero compartir un poco de lo que fue mi día de las madres sencillamente en unión familiar, pues de eso se trata, este año no hubo fiesta ni grandes regalos pues actualmente estamos pasando una situación muy difícil pero gracias a Dios aquí estamos aún luchando y lo más hermoso es que estamos en compañía de nuestros seres queridos. Este año no fue igual pero para mí fue súper especial pues e aprendido a valorar aún más cada pequeño detalle y cada momento en familia.</center
Greetings, dear and cherished friends, it's a pleasure to greet you today. On this occasion, I want to share a little about my Mother's Day, simply a day spent with my family. That's what it's all about. This year there were no parties or big gifts because we're currently going through a very difficult time, but thank God we're still here, fighting on, and the most beautiful thing is that we're in the company of our loved ones.
This year wasn't the same, but for me it was super special because we learned to value even more every little detail and every moment with our family.</center
Cómo es tradición nos reunimos en casa de mis padres, junto a todos mis hermanos y sus pequeñas familias, allí nos fuimos llegando en el transcurso de la mañana para abrazarnos y desearnos lo mejor del mundo. Para el medio día ya la casa estaba llena de gente, los niños corriendo y jugando y pues las mamás nos pusimos manos a la obra y mientras unas realizaban el tradicional sancocho de res, las demás atendíamos a los niños y preparamos algunos pasapalos para compartir mientras estaba el plato principal.</center
As is tradition, we gathered at my parents' house, along with all my siblings and their families. We arrived throughout the morning to hug each other and wish everyone the best. By midday, the house was full of people, the children were running and playing, and the mothers got to work.
While some of us made the traditional beef sancocho, the rest of us looked after the children and prepared some snacks to share while we waited for the main course.</center
A la hora del almuerzo todos compartimos un rico plato de sancocho con el sazón de la abuela y disfrutamos un día súper especial con estos seres tan especiales en nuestras vidas. Allí estuvimos luego de el almuerzo compartiendo un poco más hasta eso de las 6 de la tarde que cada uno fue retornando a sus respectivas casas.</center
At lunchtime, we all shared a delicious plate of sancocho, prepared with Grandma's special touch, and enjoyed a truly special day with these very special people in our lives. We stayed there after lunch, sharing a little more time until around 6 p.m., when everyone began returning to their respective homes.</center
Al llegar a casa y bañarnos para descansar, viendo a mí esposo y mis tres niños junto a mi en nuestra pequeña casita viendo la tele, no pude más que sentirme agradecida por todo lo que tengo en la vida, pues a pesar de las circunstancias soy afortunada. Y ustedes amigos cómo pasaron este día especial.
When I got home and took a shower to relax, seeing my husband and three children with me in our little house watching TV, I couldn't help but feel grateful for everything I have in life. Despite the circumstances, I am truly fortunate.
