Apparently Canova's masterpiece Cupid and Psyche is considered a pornographic image. The social censors the post of a communication agency, an incomprehensible intervention, while on social networks violence of every kind and groups supporting terrorism proliferate.
The incident happened in September 2018, but it's just the latest in a series of similar cases affecting art. This year there seems to be a class action against the social, promoted by Vittorio Sgarbi, not only for this case, but for all the works, sculptures and paintings that are unjustly censored.
The point is that the algorithm cannot distinguish a porn image from a work of art and it is urgent to sort it out.
