A hunter went out into the forest in search of a meat. He made endless search in the forest without a catch, on his way home, frustrated and dejected, he stumble across a cub (a small lion), whose mother has gone to seek for prey to feed him. The hunter then picked the innocent looking cub and headed home with it. On getting home, his wife asked, why he brought the cub home alive, he claimed, “to train it off course”. The elders of the community called him and warned him to return the cub back to the forest or better still, kill it before it grows up, but he did not listen, claiming that, it is innocent harmless. Day by day the hunter kept feeding the cub with meat and good food, until it became a full grown lion. One day, one day, he went into the forest to look for food for the cub (now a full grown lion), but did not find any. The lion out of hunger, seeing that its owner has delayed in returning pounced on the hunter’s entire family, his pregnant wife and only son and ate them up for lunch. As the hunter return; hopping to arrange an alternative way to feed the lion, he discovered all his family had become a prey to the lion (he once called innocent) when the lion saw him from afar; he pounced on the hunter and had him for super.
Beloved, what is little lion in your which can destroy your destiny? The scripture says “there is a way that seemeth right unto a man but, the end there of are the ways of death” (pro. 16:25). Your own little lion could be stealing fornication, lying, fighting, or even strange characters. Will you keep feeding those dangerous lion in your life? Will you closing your ears to the warning from the BIBLE as the hunter did? Will you keep ignoring the solution to your breakthrough in life? Will not destroy these small lion before it destroy you?
The little lion you read about in this story is SIN.
The bible said in Ezekiel 18:20 “the soul that sinneth it shall die…” ROM. 6:23 said “the wages of sin is death “sinners have no hope, sinners have no life, sinners are toys in the hand of the devil, the agent of fulfilling satanic agenda. There is a final destination for sinners and it is called HELL. I beg u not to harden your heart and allow your destiny to be waisted, accept the Devine provision for deliverance matt.11:28 “come unto me all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest”. John 3:16 “for God so love the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life”.
Open your heart today and make up your mind to live for God. Don’t allow your little cub (SIN) to drag you to HELL. As you decide today to live for God, may God help you.
