Baguio is a highly urbanized city in northern Luzon of the Philippines, a mountain town of universities and resorts. Called the "City of Pines," it’s particularly popular in summer due to unusually cooler weather. This isn't my first time here, but this is the unexpected travel and had so much fun! I was with my two lovely Sisters and one friend this time. We travel from Pampanga to Baguio by bus for four (4) hours. We left early morning in Pampanga and back at the night. Can you believe that? eight(8) hours ride in the bus! It wasn't our plan. The night before that, we were just like, "oh let's go to Baguio tomorrow." - just like that!
There are many things to do in Baguio, they have these types of attractions; Museums, Religious Sites, Nature & Parks, Water & Amusement Park, Shopping, Outdoor activities, etc... On this trip we went to Mines View Park first, the view is spectacular. You can dress in traditional clothes, ride horses to take pictures. There are many souvenir shops with good bargains. We went to Burnham Park as well, just walking around the lake and taking some pictures. Very clean. We didn't ride the rowboat, we didn't have much time.
We visited the BellChurch quickly, we just took pictures around and we directly go to my most favorite part in there, the Strawberry Farm. (I love strawberry!) It wasn't easy to go there because we were in a hurry and a bit tired, and also we took a jeepney going to the Farm. It takes 30 minutes from the City, but when we finally arrived there, whoa! a giant field of fresh strawberries! That was my first time to see a strawberry farm. You pick your own fresh strawberries which makes it more fun than just buying in a shop and a lot cheaper also.
