As a first timer, I am completely excited to be joining Hive and making my first post. GET TO KNOW ME
My name is Joy Okeke.I come from the south eastern part of Nigeria precisely Umutanze in Orlu Local government Area of Imo state. I come from a Christian family of 9 members and being the 6th child and the 5 girl of my parents.
I started my journey of formal education at a tender age and I commpleted my High school years in August 2021 at Gilford Memorial College,where I obtained my Certificate as a secondary school graduate and I am looking forward to furthering my education as soon as possible.

At the moment I am making the best use of my time by acquiring a skill as a hair stylist. The goal is becoming a proessional in the skill,though it's still a work in progress but I trust the process and it's just a matter of time before I get there
I enjoy having a lot of 'me' time. My favorite hobbies have always been reading and writing.Though I also enjoy spending time with people who add a lot of values to me,my moments of solitude have always been spent on reading of inspiring books by iconic authors. This has helped me to have a vast knowledge on various matters of life. I've always owned a diary since I knew how to hold a pen.Wrote a couple of short stories when I was in the Creativity club in highschool. Writing is my way of brain release and getting out my views.
AN AMAZING PLATFORM -HIVE
Being a a new user on Hive doesn't mean I have zero knowledge about blogging on social media platforms such as this. I have gotten quite a few knowledge from my stay in Steemit with the user name 
Stemit was the first social media Blockchain I joined earlier last year and I was active for some time before I stopped.Prior to that time,I had no knowledge of blogging. It was my big brother and mentor

CONCLUSION
In aiming higher and gaining more experience,the switch to a Web3 decentralized platform is a decision that I am proud of. The aim is to explore the vast world of blogging,connect with great minds,have fun in a social safe space while still earning a living doing the things I love to do.
