Hoy su fue un día de Arte-Café, literalmente trabajé un arte con pinceladas de café 🤣
Tengo que buscar espacios para conectarme nuevamente con el arte, este es el tema de nunca acabar; todo porque las pausas muy largas siento que me desconectan de lo que me gusta hacer.
Hace unos días regalé mi primer arte, eso me hizo sentir muy bien, y me hizo pensar en que no he creado absolutamente nada con mis materiales. Hoy salí dispuesta a tomar un café, pero encontré un lugar tan tranquilo que saqué mi cuaderno y mis lápices para dibujar, el papel solo resiste lápiz, no tiene los gramos necesarios para soportar agua, pero lo intenté con café.
El café americano lo preparan en algunos locales que queda bastante oscuro y a su vez una pequeña espuma propia del café, empecé usando esa espuma y terminé mojando todo el papel, el resultado me gustó además que es un avance para volver a crear.
Para un artista creo que es difícil desconectarse del todo, aunque no toques un pincel siempre se está pensando en él, espero seguir y no volver a escribir “empezando de nuevo” 🤣
Este local es súper bello, no tomé una foto totalmente clara, pero queda pendiente para la próxima 😍 mi arte de hoy a comparada de café y con olor a café 😍

Today was an “Art-Coffee” day—I literally created a piece of art using coffee as paint 🤣
I need to find ways to reconnect with art; it’s a never-ending struggle. That’s because when I take too long of a break, I feel like I lose touch with what I love to do.
A few days ago I gave away my first piece of art; that made me feel really good, and it made me realize that I haven’t created anything at all with my materials. Today I went out intending to have a coffee, but I found such a peaceful spot that I took out my sketchbook and pencils to draw. The paper is only meant for pencil—it’s not thick enough to hold water—but I tried using coffee anyway.
Some places make American coffee that’s quite dark and has a little foam on top. I started using that foam and ended up soaking the whole page. I liked the result, and it’s a step forward in getting back to creating.
For an artist, I think it’s hard to completely disconnect; even if you’re not holding a brush, you’re always thinking about it. I hope to keep going and never have to write “starting over” again 🤣
