Wheat crust calzone made at home in about one hour,
filled with "on-hand" ingredients
Last time I made a food post, I shared my beloved Pizza Night. For lunch earlier today, instead of pizza, and I tried our hand at homemade calzones.

We used the same kind of dough as last time. Then came the best part, the TOPPINGS
FILLINGS...
Turkey pepperoni, baked chicken breast
Bacon and feta cheese
Fresh mixed baby greens, pizza sauce
And finally, shredded habanero jack cheese
After 10 minutes baking
The somewhat deceptive finished product. Don't let the unpolished appearance fool you - it tasted far more delicious than this picture might lead you to believe.
This was an excellent lunch. We'll definitely be creating more calzones here soon!
