All right. I don't want anyone thinking that I'm misusing my PeakD channel to promote misogyny, because that is not my intention herein. I'm attacking the advertising industry for forcing horrible female voiceovers down our throats through television airwaves, social media, radio, and the likes. At the same time, I'm trying to figure out how many female announcers, female voiceovers, and the likes have become so unbearable to hear in recent years.
Now, I'm not here to bash all advertisements and commercials. I find many of them to be quite entertaining. However, I'm sure that most of you would agree with me that there are a number of cheesy advertisements and commercials that don't belong anywhere on camera.
Take the advertisements and commercials of Liberty Mutual Insurance for example. They're not only on television, but they're everywhere on social media. That jerk Doug looks like someone who would follow a little kid into a dressing room and peep on them while they're changing clothes. All the booty bandits in prison would even find him too repulsive to approach.
One time I was talking to this one woman about Doug on the Liberty Mutual Insurance advertisements, and I said that he probably receives threats from the public all the time. She responded that he needed to hire security. I said that the best security he could get would be taking his creepy face off camera all together.
And this Doug's emu? Every time I see that bird, I wish that all ostriches would go extinct. I know. It's supposed to be an image generated by artificial intelligence, but I hate it anyway.
You may think that this article is strictly for laughs, but I really hate many of these commercials and advertisements they put on television and elsewhere. I mean no offense to intellectually challenged individuals, but you figure that the corporations that pay for these things to air recruit retards to write the scripts for them and pay them bloated salaries that they don't deserve.
Well, within the past ten years, I've noticed that the voices of female voiceovers, female announcers, and the likes have become more and more annoying to listen to than further back in time. I don't know where these women have gone to broadcasting school, if at all, but they definitely don't belong on television or YouTube narrating advertisements and commercials.
Watch all four videos below containing advertisements and commercials, and you'll notice a variety of undesirable characteristics that the female voiceovers have in their voices when they speak. If they weren't hired on affirmative action, then they must have been sleeping with someone high up on the corporate ladder to land their roles in these same advertisements and commercials. They are anything but professional.
Here Are Four Advertisements And Commercials That Have Annoying Female Voiceovers
Now, notice that all of these female voiceovers have a rattling, yappy voice that is full of vocal fry. They even sound somewhat cavalier in the way they speak, but there is nothing remotely eloquent about the way they articulate their speech. They're all four merely noise nuisances that need to be removed from television and everywhere else.
In case you don't know what vocal fry is, I have embedded a video below that explains it thoroughly. When you hear female voiceovers engage in vocal fry in advertisements and commercials, you know that they need to look for another line of work, to say the least about them.
Dr. Geoff Lindsay Explains Why Vocal Fry Is Not Only Bad For The Ears, But It's Bad For A Woman's Vocal Cords
My question is. If companies and corporations wish to promote their product line, why would they even want to hire these women to narrate their commercials and advertisements? Consumers are going to mute these women's voices in a heartbeat or change the channel on their television set or the likes.
I completely get it that there are affirmative-action laws that require for corporations and companies to hire so many women for their job positions, but they shouldn't go shooting their own reputations in the foot. Nobody wants to listen to these women speak. It is agonizing to listen to their horrible voices.
I realize that it is very difficult for anyone to have any advertisement or commercial banned from the public media. At the same time, I can only imagine that these companies and corporations receive mail begging them to get rid of these women and never subject them to their excruciating voices again.
I cannot even see a man wanting to be married to any of these women and listening to their voice every day. Female voiceovers, female narrators, female announcers, and the likes are supposed to sound professional like the late Barbara Walters. They're not supposed to get on everyone's nerves.
If any corporate mogul is reading my article here, please get rid of these women. They don't belong in any job position where they have to use their voices. They should be working at desk jobs where nobody has to be submitted to the indignities of their horrible voices.
I realize that this is a short article. It doesn't take very much to point out that certain female voiceovers have no place in the advertising industry. These women simply suck at narrating a commercial or an advertisement, and they need to be taken off the air or off social media altogether.
