Esta es una idea de bordado que se ha puesto de moda de nuevo y mi madre la hacía mucho en paños para decorar, claro, mi madre no lo hacía de letras sino de flores y decoración navideñas. Esta franela es para alguien especial es su nombre artístico y me ha pedido especialmente se lo hiciera. Es mi primera vez bordando este estilo, lo disfruté un montón y creo que mi próximo diseño quedará mucho mejor.

Greetings, community!
This is an embroidery idea that has become fashionable again. My mother used to do it a lot on cloths for decoration, although she didn't use letters, but flowers and Christmas decorations. This flannel is for someone special—it's their stage name, and they specifically asked me to make it for them. It's my first time embroidering this style, I enjoyed it a lot, and I think my next design will be even better.

Paso a paso / Step by Step

Step 1️⃣/ Paso 1️⃣

He perdido los primeros pasos, pero aquí os explico. En un procesador de texto colocas las letras o el nombre que quieres bordar. Luego lo imprimes o lo calcas en un papel. Llevas ese calco a la franela y lo remarcas con el lápiz.

Coloca un trozo de la tela que deseas resaltar en la parte interna de la franela, ahora ajustas la tela con la franela en el aro para bordar que queden bien prensadas las dos.

Borda por toda la orilla de las letras, debes revisar que estés uniendo amba stelas con el bordado.

I missed the first steps, but here's how it works. In a word processor, type the letters or name you want to embroider. Then print it out or trace it onto paper. Transfer that tracing onto the flannel and trace it with a pencil.
Place a piece of the fabric you want to highlight on the inside of the flannel, then adjust the fabric with the flannel in the embroidery hoop so that both are well pressed.
Embroider around the edge of the letters, making sure you are joining both fabrics with the embroidery.

Step 2️⃣/ paso 2️⃣

Luego de bordar todas las letras, tomas la franela y con mucho cuidado cortas alrededor de las letras dejando ver la tela estampada que está por debajo.

Evita cortar mucho al ras del bordado y hay que hacerlo con cuidado no cortes el hilo.

Es bueno usar una tijera pequeñita para esto.

After embroidering all the letters, take the flannel and carefully cut around the letters, revealing the patterned fabric underneath.
Avoid cutting too close to the embroidery and be careful not to cut the thread.
It is best to use small scissors for this.

Step 3️⃣/ paso 3️⃣

La tela estampada por la parte interna, la cortas no muy cerca de los bordados y con una máquina o a mano, coses un zig zag para evitar deshilache.

Luego de terminar de cortar todo el interior de las letras es bueno planchar la franela.

Me gustó el resultado, creo que las fotos no le favorecen mucho, quería compartir esta idea me pareció super genial, es otra opción a sublimar tu nombre y hecho de una forma muy artesanal.

Espero les guste, a mi me flipó un montón.

Cut the printed fabric on the inside, not too close to the embroidery, and sew a zigzag stitch by machine or by hand to prevent fraying.
After cutting out the entire inside of the letters, it is a good idea to iron the flannel.
I liked the result, although I don't think the photos do it justice. I wanted to share this idea because I thought it was really cool. It's another way to personalize your name, and it's very handmade.
