Hi!
How are you ladies?
I hope you are doing fine.
This post is about LoH contest #289 and the topic is: "Feeling like you don't have enough time is often a sign that you're trying to ignore your own physical and mental limits. Are there any particular situations that make you feel like you're doing "too much" lately?"
Honestly, I should say I am not feeling like I don't have enough time for myself and my daily routine proves it. Let's see how I manage my work and personal life.
I work in a store. Our workload depends on many things like number of customers, festival season, descount offers etc. Normally, my duty hours are from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday is my weekly off.
My day actually begins much earlier. I wake up at 6 a.m.. I spend about 30 minutes doing yoga and then prepare my breakfast. It takes me around half an hour to reach my workplace. I work the whole day, return home in the evening, make myself a cup of tea or coffee and then cook my dinner while listening to the news or music. It’s my habit not to skip meals just because I’m tired. I only skip food when I feel my stomach needs a break. I do fasting sometimes, but I never avoid cooking simply out of tiredness.
On holidays, I usually have plenty of chores like cleaning my room, washing clothes and finishing other small tasks. Sometimes I visit my friend Emily as well. Whenever I get some free time I scroll through social media or play online games. Sometimes I read books.
I’m single and that actually makes my work and personal life very comfortable. I don’t feel overburdened by responsibilities. I have no family or children to look after, so honestly, I’m quite happy with my life. I take care of my physical and mental well‑being and I’m not overly ambitious which helps me stay satisfied with whatever I have.
Despite my strict daily routine, sometimes, I spend too much time on social media that makes me feel that I don't have enough time for doing other stuffs. This is a little problem that I have.
So, I can say that I am not ignoring my phsical and mental limits, though social media disturbs me on a few ocassions.
Thanks for reading this.
With love from Erica.
