The years are flying by, much too quickly. It seems like yesterday we were celebrating the occasion with your Mom and Martese at Moscow on the Hill.
When we began our life together I had no idea that what the next year or even the next day would bring. I had no idea how we would make all of these wonderful dreams of ours come true (remember our dream of moving to Santorini?)
One thing I was sure of is I found someone beautiful and wonderful to navigate the many minefields of life and celebrate the joys with.
That Swedish proverb couldn’t be more true, “Shared joy is a double joy; shared sorrow is half sorrow.”
At its heart marriage is about sharing the seconds, minutes and days of our lives and everything that comes with it. We’ve seen our share of struggle but we’ve always gotten through it together.
Life has unfolded in some pretty wild and wonderful ways that we never could have predicted. I still can’t believe it sometimes. Through it all we’ve helped each other stay grounded, learn, and grow. Life feels so complete because of you.
Here’s to many more years of love, happiness, and adventure. I just hope it doesn’t go too fast.
I love you very much! Happy Anniversary! ❤️
