From Portichio towards the inland and the mountains, that's how our day turned out.
In the morning, after the run described here (Keeping your mouth shut while running) we decided to break the camp and drive to Ajaccio to visit the skate park in the center of the city.
Well, when we managed to get through the usual traffic chaos of the French coastal cities we couldn't find a suitable parking lot. So we scratched that plan and headed out of the city and to the nearest Decathlon store.
The consolation price for our son was a full-face scuba diving mask.
Then we moved to the next store to fill up on groceries.
Afterwards we moved to A Cupulatta, the famous turtles park, the biggest in Europe.
Here the lady is show-feeding the giant Galapagos turtle. What an amazing creature.
By the way, would you give 20 euros for a plush turtle like this?
After good two hours of getting to know the turtles close and personal our next goal was to find a decent place to stay overnight. We realized that we are heading in the storm front and didn't want to fight through it.
So we found this cozy camping right after the Vizzavona pass. It's called Camping Le Soleil. It's a good name since it's raining hard. Hopefully, tomorrow the sun will come. We might do some hiking or continue to the north coast. We'll see. Our plans are very adjustable.
Some more photos to keep you entertained.
Feng shu styled bathrooms at the camp we were in last two nights.

That's it for today. Write you tomorrow with our new adventures.
