A very solid day, even if the monthly bar is out of reach now.
The morning started with an easy 4K run along the Isar in Thalkirchen. Nothing fancy, just a smooth early outing by the river to get the legs moving and clear the head before the rest of the day unfolded.
The main event was a long visit to the Deutsches Museum in Munich. Five hours there went by surprisingly fast, which says a lot about the place — hall after hall of technically impressive stuff, clever exhibits, and enough engineering inspiration to keep the brain busy the whole time. The museum is open daily from 9:00 to 17:00, so it really is the kind of place where half a day disappears easily [web:29][web:39].
Pizza came on the way back from the city, this time at Trattoria Pizzeria Lago Di Garda on Baaderstraße. A good stop to refuel after the museum marathon and before slowing the day down again [web:34].
The evening added one more doggy walk, short but necessary, the proper final touch for the day. Altogether the counter climbed to around 19,000 steps, which is still a very respectable total.
Being on day 29 means the #poprzeczka bar sits at 29,000 steps. That was never happening this time, but that part of the game is already over anyway. Still, 19K steps, a riverside run, five hours of science and technology, pizza, and a dog walk make this one an easy success in every practical sense.
better and better
