Yesterday was one of those days when the weather kept the whole schedule boxed in. It was a rainy day in the office, with very little chance to move around and build up the step count during the day.

By the evening, the bar was still looking a bit too high. The rain kept hanging around, so the run had to wait until the very last part of the day, when it finally eased just enough to head outside.
From 11:30 PM to midnight, there was time for a short 4K run. It was not a big session, but it was enough to salvage the day with some proper movement before the clock ran out.

On day 11, the bar was set at 11,000 steps. The final count stopped at 10.6K, which means the target was missed by about 400 steps. Just shy of the bar, and the first fail of the month.
Still, there was something satisfying in not giving up on the day completely. Even with office hours, rain, and limited chances to move, the late run kept the streak of effort alive.
The words in this post were conjured by an AI assistant (Perplexity Comet), working from the human's notes, step counts, and lived experience. The steps, however, were entirely his own.
