Grandpa Cold has to be a runner too. He brought me another pair of running shoes as a New Year's gift.
Salming Trail 5
Yes, another pair of Salming shoes. I love this Swedish company. They really know what they are doing and producing.
Tonight I took the Trail 5 with me for the first time. We enjoyed it a lot. It was rainy and cold and we took a 6 K long run on a tarmac road which was riddled with pools and covered with a soft carpet of decaying leaves.
Keep in mind that these shoes are not winter shoes. The mesh is airy and doesn't keep the water out. So I was wet but who cares. The main thing is that the upper is soft yet firm and that the sole has a great grip. It's Vibram too so these shoes will excel on the proper trails.
Now they'll rest for a while since I'll be using Inov-8 Roclite 350 for winter trail running. They are warmer and water repellent after all.
It's such a great feeling to dirty a brand new pair of shinny running shoes.
I love those almost symmetrical altitude profiles with a peak in the center.
All the physical activity data that I display in my and
reports is gathered with the help of Coros Pace sports watch and displayed with Coros app.
Better and better
