It is my first time to experience 9DVR or the 9D Virtual Reality. It is something that turn your dreams to life and your fantasies into reality. Thanks to advanced technology for producing this kind of virtual world. I am now ready to cross and discover what lies beyond the realm!
How I ended up trying this?
It was not originally in our plan. Our real intention in going to the mall is to watch a movie in Cinema. On our way to the ticket booth, it just so happened that we came to passed by to this area which is the 9DVR Experience. I know this kind of stuff because I already saw it in youtube but I really don't know how it feels like in personal so I gave it a shot without thinking twice.
That’s me while listening to the lady in charge (sorry for my face). The other woman was not captured in the photo but both of them were very kind and approachable. There's several short games/video to choose by. The time duration depends on each kind of video but usually it lasted for about more or less 6 minutes.
That’s the actual video of me (excuse my belly fats hehe) playing the Zombie Castle. You will see me that I’m always fixing the 9DVR because it doesn’t fit in my head, it’s too big for me. The thing that I'm holding and pressing in my hands are the guns. For a girl like me, it's scary and what makes it more scary is the visual effects as if I’m really in the actual place plus the chair that is moving and shaking that gives the vibe of more realistic experience.
You maybe wondering why I look like that, annoying and screaming. It feels like I’m really in that castle full of zombies. It's like zombie apocalypse. They are all over. Some of them are on the ground and crawling towards me. Some are walking then eventually they will run very fast to eat me so what I did is to just shoot and shoot them to save my life. There's also bats flying above and they are attacking me also.
Another thing that I noticed about it was that if I move my neck to the left I can see the hallway to the left, if I move my neck to the right there’s also another hallway and if I move my neck upward I can see the ceiling as if I was there. I’m moving my neck to check if I can see the real life (the mall with real people around) but t'was a wrong move, all I saw was the entire horrifying view of the old castle haha.
You know what I hate the most? The doors. Since it's a castle, there are many rooms. There's a scene that I’m walking in the hallway then I stopped in front of a close door. In my mind, I don’t want it to open and I don’t wanna know what’s inside but what can I do, it's part of the video. I’m also very nervous whenever the doors opened 'cause for sure zombies are there. There's also a scene where inside the room, there’s a man lying in the middle of the table while the zombies are eating his flesh then whey they saw my presence, they went towards me then I ran.
Most of the time I panicked so I really don’t know who am I shooting, I just fire the guns non-stop. Lucky I am for it wasn’t true, if this happen in real life I may never survive lol. I really enjoy this 9DVR experience, very interesting! Will surely try again next time!
