I have officially made the switch from YouTube to Steemit/Dtube due to the tragic and unexpected termination of my longterm YouTube Channel. As all of you are obviously aware, YouTube and mainstream social media sites have grown increasingly volatile and unpredictable towards content creators. Channel bans, censorship, and the removal of monetization opportunities are a reality on those popular platforms. Traditional social media and content sharing sites are no longer a safe place to store, share and discuss content that may be considered controversial. For these reasons I am now focusing my attention onto the Steemit and DTube decentralized revolution.
The goal of this channel, “Esoteric Disclosure Archives” (EDA), will be to offer to the public an open archival safe haven for content that is esoteric, conspiratorial, technological, and educationally minded. Most of the content posted to EDA is not produced by us. Instead, the content we will be posting is from a curated collection of material that we have amassed over the years, from various sources. Each post will contain material that we deem worthy of discussion and that we feel is in jeopardy of being banned or removed. Our main goal is to preserve these various works of knowledge, that is currently strewn all over the web, and give them a safe home to live.
This channel should be considered an “archive” similar to the Library of Alexandria or of Manly P Hall’s Library at the Philosophical Research Society.. Knowledge from across the globe, time, and space will be shared here, not because we believe or fully support the ideas presented in them but because we feel it is of value to those in the public who have “eyes to see”, and “ears to hear”. We welcome open discussion and encourage deep personal pondering of the material we present.
We live in an era that promotes the exchange of information as much as we live in a time that goes to great lengths to censor and cerebrally imprison the masses. In order to maintain social balance it is imperative for the public to have a reliable, uncensored “safe house” to go to for information and discussions. The EDA “Esoteric Disclosure Archive” is our contribution towards maintaining that balance.
