A quienes nos gusta tejer nos encanta crear proyectos nuevos, probar nuevas técnicas, y tejer mucho en el menor tiempo posible.
Existe un material bastante particular con el que puedes crear proyectos a gran escala en poco tiempo, se trata del Trapillo.
El trapillo es una madeja de hilo creado con tela de algodón picada en tiras que al estirarlas se doblan hacia adentro convirtiéndolo en el material ideal para hacer alfombras, edredones, bolsos, tapetes y un sin fin de cosas en muy poco tiempo.
Para ello es necesario contar con una aguja lo suficientemente gruesa para que sea cómodo al tejer, en mi caso yo cuento con una de 8 mm de grosor.
Pero como siempre existen dificultades, es posible que te pase como a mí y no consigas alguna tienda cercana que pueda surtirte este material, por lo que hoy te voy a enseñar a crear tu propio trapillo con tela de algodón, que en mi región la llamamos Tela de Franela.

But as there are always difficulties, it is possible that it will happen to you like me and you will not find a nearby store that can supply you with this material, so today I am going to teach you how to create your own T-shirt yarn with cotton fabric, which in my region we call it Flannel fabric.

- Tijeras
- Mucha paciencia y dedicación 😊. Es un proceso que lleva su tiempo, así que hazlo con calma y disfruta el momento como una especie de terapia antiestrés.

P R O C E S O || P R O C E S S
1.- Vamos a trabajar en una mesa amplia que nos permita estirar la tela y trabajar cómodamente. Con ayuda de una tijera, ve cortando tiras de 2 cm de ancho aproximadamente. Trata de cortar hacia el lado con más extensión de la tela, así quedarán tiras más largas y no tendrás que hacer tantas uniones.
1.- We are going to work at a wide table that allows us to stretch the fabric and work comfortably. With the help of scissors, cut strips approximately 2 cm wide. Try to cut towards the side with more length of the fabric, so that there will be longer strips and you will not have to make as many seams.
2.- Ve colocando las tiras que cortes a un lado, te recomiendo que lo hagas así para que no te detengas en el proceso de estirado de la tela y se haga todo más fluido.
3.- Cuando veas que tienes suficientes tiras de tela, es momento de iniciar con el estirado.

4.- Toma cada una de las tiras y estira lo más que puedas cada una de sus partes hasta que la tela se enrolle completamente hacia el centro.
5.- Repite este proceso con todas las tiras de tela.

6.- Al tener todas las tiras enrolladas es momento de unirlas, vamos a hacer un pequeño nudo y luego con la tijera cortamos el excedente.
7.- Luego tomamos todas las tiras y armamos nuestra madeja de trapillo.

Así queda el trapillo listo para utilizar, pasamos de una tela común y corriente a una madeja con la que podemos hacer un sin fin de cosas. Recuerda utilizar una aguja de un grosor de al menos 8 milímetros para trabajar cómodamente.
This is how the fabric is ready to use, we go from an ordinary fabric to a skein with which we can make endless things. Remember to use a needle that is at least 8 millimeters thick to work comfortably.
