A entregar hojas de vida en Colombia o Sintesís Curricular como le decimos en mi país, quizas simplemente curriculo, pero esta mañana mi prima Rossmar nos envia el anuncio de que estaban buscando mesera en un restaurante. Les cuento que a mi hermana y a mi nos emocionó esta noticia porque siempre nos ha gustado trabajar en atención al cliente, somos muy extrovertidas, nos encanta socializar y conversar. Asi que dijimos "Este trabajo tiene que ser nuestro" y asi nos arreglamos para venir a Colombia.
To deliver resumes in Colombia or Curricular Synthesis as we say in my country, maybe just a CV, but this morning my cousin Rossmar sent us the announcement that they were looking for a waitress in a restaurant. I tell you that my sister and I were moved by this news because we have always liked working in customer service, we are very outgoing, we love to socialize and talk. So we said "This job has to be ours" and so we managed to come to Colombia.
Llevamos algo de dinero para comprar la hoja de vida ya que en Colombia. Tu compras una hojita y la llenas con tus datos y tu foto, como no teniamos foto impresa paramos en una papelería y alli compramos una carpeta, un lapicero, compramos la hoja e imprimimos las fotos. Estamos muy emocionadas con esto, luego de salir de la papeleria les cuento que estabamos indecisas hacia donde ir y sentirnos comodas para poder llenar la hoja de vida y así se nos ocurrió la gran idea de parar en una panadería donde todos sus productos son sabrosos.
We take some money to buy the resume since in Colombia. You buy a small sheet and fill it with your data and your photo, as we did not have a printed photo, we stopped at a stationery store and there we bought a folder, a pencil, we bought the sheet and printed the photos. We are very excited about this, after leaving the stationery I tell you that we were undecided where to go and feel comfortable to fill out the resume and so we came up with the great idea of stopping at a bakery where all their products are tasty.
Como saben yo no puedo comer algunas cosas por mi dieta pero debiamos comprar algo para que nos dejaran sentarnos en el lugar tranquilamente y llenar la hoja de vida. Asi que optamos por comprar una cocacola pequeña y un pancito de queso para mi hermana que segun Evelyn estaba delicioso. El chocolate que ven allí nos lo regaló mi amigo Luis pero se lo comió Evelyn ya que yo no puedo comer estas cosas POR AHORA. Estaba que lo probaba pero aguantar un poco más es lo más sano para mi salud.
As you know, I can't eat some things because of my diet, but we had to buy something so that they would let us sit in the place quietly and fill out the resume. So we opted to buy a small Coke and a cheese bun for my sister, which according to Evelyn was delicious. The chocolate you see there was given to us by my friend Luis, but Evelyn ate it since I can't eat these things FOR NOW. I was trying it but holding on a little longer is the healthiest for my health
Así que al salir de la panaderia nos fuimos al lugar donde nos dijeron que estaban buscando mesera para el restaurante, mi hermana y yo conociamos el lugar ya que habiamos pasado varias veces por allí mucho antes y siempre habiamos querido ir allí a comer solo que nunca fuimos por ser costoso y esta vez iremos a trabajar. La muchacha que nos recibió las hojas de vida fue muy amable, se emocionó con nosotras y dijo que nos contactaría y hablaría con su jefe porque le encantamos y nos vió con buena actitud.
So when we left the bakery we went to the place where they told us they were looking for a waitress for the restaurant, my sister and I knew the place since we had passed there several times long before and we had always wanted to go there to eat alone than ever. We went to be expensive and this time we will go to work. The girl who received us the resumes was very kind, she was excited with us and said that she would contact us and talk to her boss because she loved us and she saw us with a good attitude.
Así que bueno, mañana comienza mi hermana seran 3 dias de prueba, confió en que le irá bien. La muchacha nos dice que nos quiere probar por separado, yo queria trabajar pero por razones ajenas, debo esperar un poco terminar el tratamiento pero se que pronto podre iniciar y espero que asi sea,ya les estaré contando.
