Me encanta poder estar este #musicalmonday contándoles sobre lo nuevo que hay en la Cantoría, este grupo coral que me llena de muchas ilusiones y que en el corto tiempo que que tiene de haber vuelto a la escena musical tan buenas experiencias me ha dejado, desde cantar un solo hasta los ensayos llenos de geniales ejercicios de vocalización y clases de técnica vocal, que hace que cada sábado sea de alegría musical.
Empezamos nuestros ensayos a mediados del mes de enero y les comento que me encanta el repertorio que va eligiendo nuestro Director, canciones como Anhelante, Ansiedad y Bésame mucho, son parte de una selección de piezas exquisitas, que si bien poseen un nivel exigente, me animan enormemente a estudiarlas y a aprenderlas lo más pronto posible.
I am delighted to be here this #musicalmonday telling you about what's new in the Cantoría, this choral group that fills me with many illusions and that in the short time it has been back to the musical scene has left me with such good experiences, from singing a solo to the rehearsals full of great vocalization exercises and vocal technique classes, which makes every Saturday a musical joy.
We started our rehearsals in mid-January and I can tell you that I love the repertoire that our Director is choosing, songs like Ansiedad, Ansiedad and Bésame mucho, are part of a selection of exquisite pieces, which although they have a demanding level, they encourage me greatly to study them and learn them as soon as possible.
Y hablando de canciones con nivel de exigencia, también destaca en el repertorio una pieza brillante como es Águas de Março, que suma el tener que aprender la letra en portugués. ¡Otro reto que me encanta!
Mientras vamos montando este repertorio, tuvimos nuestra primera presentación del año participando en el 30 aniversario de la Universidad Santa María, allí cantamos el Himno Nacional y el Himno del Estado Anzoátegui, fue un momento muy emotivo, porque fue un evento organizado por estudiantes del último año de Comunicación Social, y entre ellos se encuentra una de nuestras integrantes, compartir este momento con ella fue algo muy especial.
Y en la Cantoría no todo es canto, porque también hemos tenido espacios para comer cosas ricas y para muestra le comparto estas fotos, el refrigerio del evento del 30 aniversario, estuvo totalmente delicioso y la exquisita torta con la cual celebramos a los cumpleañeros del mes de enero causó sensación, fue hecho por una nuestras integrantes ¡Música y comida divina!

While we were assembling this repertoire, we had our first presentation of the year participating in the 30th anniversary of the University Santa Maria, there we sang the National Anthem and the Anthem of the State of Anzoátegui, it was a very emotional moment because it was an event organized by students of the last year of Social Communication, and among them is one of our members, sharing this moment with her was something very special.
And in the Cantoría not everything is singing, because we have also had spaces to eat delicious things and as a sample, I share these photos, the snack of the 30th-anniversary event was delicious and the exquisite cake with which we celebrated the birthday boys and girls of January caused a sensation, it was made by one of our members ***Divine music and food!
También les comento que ahora solo estoy cantando en la Cantoría, la verdad que el mes de Diciembre al pertenecer a dos coros tuve muy poco tiempo para mis actividades familiares y laborales, así que opté por quedarme en un solo coro. Me siento muy bien con esta decisión ya que ahora me siento más libre y sigo haciendo algo que amo, como es cantar en un coro. ¡El canto sigue alimentando mi ser!
I also tell you that now I am only singing in the Cantoría, the truth is that during the month of December I belonged to two choirs and I had very little time for my family and work activities, so I chose to stay in one choir. I feel very good with this decision because now I feel freer and I continue doing something I love, like singing in a choir. Singing continues to nourish my being!.
