Woww!!! I knew when institutional money started to get into cryptos it would start to change things and boy was that an under statement! Two possible reasons noted in WSJ article: CME And Choe , and a software called Lightning Network which is designed to increase Bitcoins transaction capacity. Or, “Crypto 🐱 Kitties” a game run on ethereums platform in which people bid for computer generated pics of cats. Highest bid was $100k. Yikes. (3rd pic) I guess some people don’t know what to do with their new found wealth. For me I would rather put 100k into real estate then buy a digital cat.
