Nuestro día de las madres [ESP/ENG]

Hola a todos! cada segundo domingo de mayo se celebra el día de las madres en Venezuela, así que hoy 10 de mayo lo celebramos, y por eso quiero felicitar a todas las mamás del mundo, ser mamá no es una tarea fácil, de hecho, es muy difícil y aún así cada una de nosotras hacemos lo mejor por nuestros hijos, y el solo hecho de preocuparnos por si lo estamos haciendo bien o no ya dice lo buena madre que eres, así que felicidades a todas y espero que hayan tenido un excelente día.

Por mi parte les cuento que hoy hizo un buen clima por aquí, y eso es bueno porque los días anteriores hizo bastante frío, así que para aprovechar el buen clima decidimos ir hoy a visitar Jardines Kapias, un lugar que nos encanta y que cada año visitamos una vez llega la primavera, y que como siempre la pasamos excelente allí a pesar de que había bastante gente.

Probablemente Olivia no recuerde este lugar, pero les cuento que a ella le gustó caminar allí, ver muchas flores y cosas lindas, y por supuesto jugar en el parque ya que también hay un parque y es que este es un lugar perfecto para toda la familia. Mi esposo por su parte decidió hacernos fotos a Olivia y a mí, que son algunas de las que les comparto en este post y la verdad es que me encantaron y yo disfruté junto a mi familia.

Más tarde decidimos ir a comer pizza y luego al parque con Olivia y sin duda alguna fue un gran día para mí, aunque por supuesto extrañé a mi mamá y a mis hermanos, pero espero que pronto podamos estar juntos otra vez y celebrar todos estos momentos que no hemos podido disfrutar juntos.

Hello, everyone! In Venezuela, Mother’s Day is celebrated on the second Sunday in May, so today, May 10, we’re celebrating it. That’s why I want to congratulate all the moms in the world. Being a mom isn’t an easy task; in fact, it’s very difficult, and yet each of us does our best for our children. And the very fact that we worry about whether we’re doing it right or not already shows what a good mother you are. So congratulations to all of you, and I hope you had a wonderful day.

As for me, I’ll tell you that the weather was nice here today, and that’s good because it was pretty cold the past few days. So, to take advantage of the nice weather, we decided to go visit Jardines Kapias today—a place we love and visit every year once spring arrives. And, as always, we had a great time there even though it was pretty crowded.

Olivia probably won’t remember this place, but I’ll tell you that she enjoyed walking around there, seeing lots of flowers and pretty things, and of course playing in the playground since there’s also a playground—it really is a perfect place for the whole family. My husband, for his part, decided to take some photos of Olivia and me—some of which I’m sharing in this post—and honestly, I loved them, and I really enjoyed spending time with my family.

Later, we decided to go out for pizza and then to the park with Olivia, and it was definitely a great day for me. Of course, I missed my mom and my siblings, but I hope we can be together again soon and celebrate all these moments we haven’t been able to enjoy together.
