Me and spend last Friday being all fancy and cultural in Helsinki's Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma, and we were really pleasantly surprised about the exhibitions in there. We started from the top floor with an exhibition of Korakrit Arunanondchai, an artist from Bangkok. He does these insane, huge, sculptures from different materials and the whole room is just very eery with all the changing lights and sound effects.
It was really hard to take pictures because there was just so much to see, so I mostly photographed my favourite parts, the odd globs of blown glass, lit from within.
Metal, wood, wires, glass, lights, water, car parts, plastic, jeans, prosthetics, insects, fur, sea shells, paint, canvas... And somehow, it all came together beautifully.
Shot with Nikon D7200 and Nikkor 35mm 1.8G.
Ps. left me alone in Hellsinki earlier today so I've had all evening for myself and my sassier photography, more of that soon ;)
