Nope, didn't move yet, but I cleaned! Now I can't even recognise the place!
I've been cleaning and organising all day, clearing out all the excess junk on the surfaces and setting up everything to look pretty. On Monday, I'll have a stylist and a photographer coming over to take professional pictures of the apartment, because the current owner is selling the place and they need pictures. I'm interested to see what the stylist thinks of my interior design style, I did hide the corpses, except for the moose antlers. Hope she/he likes plants!
My apartment is in a constant state of creative chaos, with clothes, camera gear and shoes lying around. It does suit my somewhat eclectic and bohemian style of home decor, but I did have to clean up my act. I collect oddities and mementos, which I have mostly hidden away to moving boxes already. Not everyone is a fan of a silver cast of teeth, fur foxes and candles, which I of course can't understand, they are so pretty!
It's funny (or horrifying) that this is the cleanest my apartment has ever been, in five years, and I'm moving in a week. I guess it was high time to clean this shit. Though I will have to do another clean up after everything is moved to the new apartment, and I hate cleaning. I was laughing when I called mom after I had cleaned, because I noticed there was a sudden echo in the apartment, that a thick layer of dust must have softened. I guess I could start cleaning a bit more often, the apartment looks much nicer when there is less clutter.
I almost missed my bus to the countryside because I had to snap these pictures before leaving, to be shared and saved before I dismantle the place completely.
Last picture is a reality check, the entryway is filled with moving boxes and cleaning supplies.
Ps. I smell like I have been scrubbing the remnants of a body off the kitchen floor, to hide a crime I committed. I hope the chloride smell disappears during the weekend...
