Greetings dear readers, today I give life and love to my blog with a cup of coffee, wishing for days to write my affection for this appreciated companion with whom I have been involved in pleasant moments.
Coffee has been a tradition in my family bond, I remember when I was a little girl in the meetings and visits between adults, the first thing that was invited to drink, was a cup of coffee. By then I did not understand that ritual, saying among my siblings and cousins that drinking coffee was for old people, and if we drank it our teeth would darken until they fell out hahahahahaha.
When I was growing up the aroma of coffee always attracted me and it was the memory of home with my grandmothers, even with that taste I did not dare to try it, I even refused it when it was offered to me, preferring to drink herbal tea, another of the family customs. However, when I entered the university and began to have meetings with the work teams, meeting in the cafeteria and in my work routine... that is when my belief about coffee began to change.
So for 25 years I have been drinking coffee, at breakfast, and some in the afternoon with a snack. This is how I have tried several types of coffee, even with flavors and essences, staying with the simplest as we say in Venezuela a "Guayoyo" that is to say black but very clear, and when I want to drink it in an exotic way, I drink it with milk plus chocolate and a touch of cinnamon known as "Moccacino" and both very hot.
So this Saturday after having some medical exams in one of the oldest and most elegant shopping malls in Caracas, called Centro Ciudad Comercial Tamanaco, the famous CCCT, I had the desire to walk around and see stores, something I rarely do for lack of time, passing by one of its corners I found a local cinnamon roles and cookies that seemed very nice and attractive, immediately jumped to my mind "no doubt there must be coffee here".
That's how I decided to take the afternoon and enjoy alone a machine-made mochaccino with chocolate chip cookies that were a dream. I have always liked this type of coffee because of how fast it is to prepare and how frothy it is when served.
I started by saying cheers to myself for my delicious mocaccino coffee, accompanied by my first snack of vanilla chocolate chip cookies.
Now with my delicious mocaccino coffee, I tasted the following combined cookie, which overall was a fascinating enhancement of flavors...
While I was tasting my snack inspired by my thoughts, I heard the sound of a piano playing musical themes from different eras, this made the atmosphere much more charming. At the end after drinking all my coffee and tasting my cookies, I went to see where that enigmatic melody came from, being a live pianist who harmonized that moment promoting his work and some chocolates through a contest.
Standing there I listened to him for a while longer, leaving that Saturday afternoon of February 17, 2024 with a pleasant feeling I had with my lovely "café moccacino" under a charming atmosphere as everything that is linked to this ancestral and delicious beverage.
