Kotlas, a city in the south of the Arkhangelsk region, like all other cities, has several microdistricts, one of which is Limenda.
Limenda is also called the river flowing through the Kotlas district, through the city's territory and then flows into Vychegda river.
Photos I decided to make in light pastel colors in a minimalist style. Once the sunny weather does not come to me, then I need to use the weather is given!
Garage cooperative at the entrance to the microdistrict.
This is such an industrial-sleeping area, where many two-story old houses and five-story panel-block buildings. However, the whole Kotlas is such, but in Limende this is felt as much as possible.
There are more old buildings.
Wooden houses almost all in terrible condition...
Industrial landscape of small cities in Russia - that's how I would call a selection of these photos.
In Limenda there is a large ship-repair yard and a backwater where ships and barges stand. It is what separates the main part of the city from this microdistrict.
The development of high-rise buildings here is not as dense as in the center of Kotlas.
Many large spaces in the yards.
This old four-storey house, which is almost as tall as a five-storey house, seemed interesting. What are the ceilings in the apartments ? In my opinion, this is what the real "Stalinist" looks like.
And finally, a genre shot from Limenda.
