The lights that city hall puts out in the streets for the holiday season is one the best things to shoot! There is no snow around here, winters are mostly rainy and windy, not many colours either. So it is nice thing to see.
And practice bokeh :)
No matter what you shoot, with the right lens the world look like a colorful bubbly place
This is part of a giant Christmas Tree which is basically a pile of lights. Looks cool from a distance, but from up close it's much more photogenic :)
But as soon as you put the camera down it goes back to this misty dark evening with people wrapped up in jackets.
I saw sparks...
Bonus song for today:
Coldplay - Sparks
year 2000
I woke up today with this one in my head. I haven't been listening to Coldplay in years. Where did it come from?
No clue.
Some songs just like to remind us about their existence :)
"Parachutes" is the first studio album from the band. I recommend listening to the whole thing. It's pretty mellow...
And I am sure most will know "Yellow" song, which to me is not the best of the bunch, but it was definitely a hit back then.
