To continue the fuzzy plants posts - this is something I found on the dunes near the beach.
Walking on the sand, climbing up to the dunes where actually some plants manage to grow, first I noticed the yellow flowers blooming so close to the sand level.
And then... oh so soft and fuzzy leaves! Yes, I must touch all the fuzzy plants. Some just pretend to be soft and nice and the fur is actually stiff (of have hidden thorns in like some cacti, do not pet those!). But this was such a joy. So soft, so fluffy, so petable :)
From my research I think those are two types of Lotus flowers. The flowers are from Lotus creticus and the fuzzy leaves from Lotus parviflorus. Both growing in the same area. The first one seem to have less fuzz on the leaves and bigger flowers.
And a mandatory bee shot :)
