The Beautiful Alaska Range Mountains Near The Delta In Alaska

The Delta community rests inside the Tanana River Valley. There are three different mountain ranges that surround this fertile valley. The beautiful White Mountains are off to the North, the Granite Mountains are off to the Southeast, with the spectacular Alaska Range looming off to the Southwest. This beautiful fertile valley is cradled by these three major mountain ranges and also the Delta River which runs to the west of the city of Delta. What an amazing picturesque valley. 

The Alaska Range is rugged and enormous. Severe weather, mountain glaciers, together with the ice and snow make this one of the greatest mountain ranges in North America. It is the home to the continent's tallest peak, and is filled with many trails and rock climbing adventures.
