I guess Bianca wasn't lying when she saw a mouse the other day.
I saw one last night. On the kitchen counter.
Probably looking for food that wasn't there.
So the theory that Bianca is behind this to enforce a spring cleaning can go out the window...
By now...I'm not 100% sure if the mice actually live in our house.
I have not found any nests anywhere and I cannot think of any place where they could reside.
So today we put traps everywhere and poison to.
I put them in regular food places (like the kitchen counter) to fool the highly gifted mice.
We didn't want to stay in a house full of traps and poison so tonight we are staying over at our friend Fabio.
I wonder if we come home to a mice massacre tomorrow...
I drove to Fabio's place and he was outside waiting for us.
He wanted to take us to Little Italy.
Which is not an area in Rotterdam but a small 'real' Italian Supermarket he found.
The moment I entered the store I was taken back to my trip with Bianca to Sardinia in 2016.
The same smell and the same awesome food and drink.
In the front I saw something I never tried before.
I asked the girl that was helping us about it.
She said that it was made from all the remainders/leftovers of sausage making.
Very fatty yet delicious.
Sounded good to me, so I took some with me.
She sliced it really thin.
We also took some raw ham, Mortadella and a cheese Fabio recommended: Burrata.

Fabio had a nice plank and I made us a selection of the things that we bought. It was very delicious.
Later Fabio will make us a Carbonara. The classic style.
He perfected this dish over a couple of years.
He promised he will make a post about it.
