It is the second time when our great Supreme court has shown a positive response in order to big public relief. The first was when Supreme court has refused the cryptocurrency trading ban petition and second one today just 5 hours ago and the second one is related to loan moratorium interest.
Actually someone has filed a petition in supreme court and pleaded that in this pandemic situation where everything has been destroyed, then how any citizen of India can pay interest over interest for their pending EMIs? The Supreme court was hearing this petition today because 31 August Moratorium period is going to end.
The Supreme court of India has sent a notice to the current Government and stated that don't hide yourself behind the RBI and stop playing from behind of RBI, Supreme court also said that come out and broadcast your own stand that what you think about interest over interest and how you can give relief to your citizen. However court has given 1 week of time for reply. Next hearing is on 1st September 2020 and it will be the vital news for we all.
We feel proud and want to say thanks to our supreme court who always stands with citizens of India. Situation is really very serious in India because many small private offices has been shut completely, many big firms are giving salary to employees but after cutting 30 or 40 percent, Many firms has said get out some employees from office, it means situation is not good at all hence our Supreme court has sent notice to take proper relief action following the disaster management acts.
I hope the final decision whatever will be broadcast on 1st September will be in our favor..
