Worldwide there are 90 species of shrimp king birds, scattered in the tropics of Africa, Asia, and Australasia. Half of them, namely 45 species, can be found in Indonesia. Shrimp king bird group consists of king prawns, pekaka (pekakak), and cekakak. Some kicaumania call it a tengkuk bird. But tengkek is different from the buto (ordinary light bulb), because the physical character, family silence, and voice are different.
