Good evening Steempeeps and I hope life is good
I started off bright and early in Castlefield at the foot of Mam Tor, once I'd got over the fact there would be no inversion I headed towards Ladybower reservoir. There were such beautiful hues going on in the sky. It was mesmeric but from my position in the valley the sunrise didn't amount to much.
This bridge is so long I decided I would stitch together a number of pictures into a panorama. This gives a super high resolution image and crams that much more detail into one shot. I also took 3 expostures for each camera position as the dynamic range was so high. I merged them together 1st in Lightroom before assembling them into the panorama.
After I'd finished at the bridge I moved round to the Dam wall where I could see lots of mist rising. By the time I'd driven round it had mostly gone but a bit still lingered as did the lovely hues in the sky.
Soul reset and back home in a good mood for the rest of the day.
I do love Landscape photography and I hope to improve on this area of photography more this coming year.
Happy days.
