Has anyone invested in the Electroneum? It has some unique CryptoCurrency traits that really make me excited for the blockchain to go live come November 1st. It is designed to be mineable via mobile devices, and that is pretty neat, the thing that really has me excited is how they are focusing on the computer gaming industry. Their white paper cites that the average retention rate of an online multiplayer game is 20% after the first 30 days (Source). They would like to offer players a way to carry some progress from one game to the next via this new Crypto. The idea for this is to carry over a greater percentage of your earned in game money to the next game you intend on playing while the developer takes a cut. Obviously this could result in cash farming and selling like you generally see in the MMO community. However I feel that will always be a problem within these types of games.
The Whitepaper is definitely an interesting read.
The crowdfunding token sale has ended due to the coin hardcap, so it looks to be popular.
