🌲 Der Weg ist mein Ziel │ The way is my goal 🌳

Meistens zieht es mich nach einer ereignisreichen Woche in den Wald. Dort kann ich entspannen und runter kommen vom stressigen Alltag. Die Umgebung von Bäumen wirkt auf mich einfach entschleunigend. In den kalten Wintermonaten ist dort kaum jemand unterwegs. Ich benötige eine gewisse Stimmung, um zu fotografieren. Es braucht bei mir immer einige Zeit,, bis ich die richtige Sicht auf mein Motiv gefunden habe. Fotografieren bedeutet für mich sehen und das Bild im Kopf gestalten. Erst dann kommt die Kamera ins Spiel. Mit ihr setze ich nur meine Gedanken um und kann so verschiedenes ausprobieren. Genau diese Vorgehensweise verschafft mir immer wieder Ideen, um unterschiedliche Sichtweisen umzusetzen. Ob und wie gut eine Aufnahme gelingt, entscheidet immer die Stimmung, in der ich mich befinde.

Mostly I'm drawn to the forest after an eventful week. There I can relax and come down from the stressful everyday life. The environment of trees has a decelerating effect on me. In the cold winter months there is hardly anyone on the move. I need a certain mood to take pictures. It always takes me some time to find the right view of my motif. For me photography means to see and to design the picture in my head. Only then does the camera come into play. With it I only put my thoughts into practice and can try different things. Exactly this approach always gives me ideas to realize different points of view. Whether and how well a recording succeeds always depends on my personal mood in which I find myself.

Das Bild ist immer ein Augenblick den ich als Fotokünstler einfange. Ich halte den Moment fest und versuche, so viel wie möglich zu transportieren. Der Betrachter soll den besonderen Moment spüren. Meine Bilder sollen Emotionen und Staunen hervorrufen und gleichzeitig auch sensibilisieren. Es ist mein ganz persönliche Blick auf die Natur und alles, was sie bewirkt.

The picture is always a moment that I capture as a photo artist. I capture the moment and try to transport as much as possible. The viewer should feel the special moment. My pictures should evoke emotions and amazement and at the same time sensitize. It is my very personal view of nature and everything it causes.

Bei der nachfolgenden Aufnahme habe ich mit einer Doppelbelichtung gearbeitet. Es war ein nebeliger Morgen und der Nebel wollte der Sonne nicht weichen. Um die Zeit zu überbrücken, habe ich mit einigen Funktionen meiner Kamera experimentiert. So ist diese Aufnahme entstanden. Während der Belichtung habe ich den Zoomring an meinem Objektiv gleichmäßig gedreht. Das zweite Bild habe ich ganz normal fotografiert und die Kamera hat die beiden Bilder miteinander verrechnet. Also kein Photoshop wie man vermuten könnte.

In the following picture I worked with a double exposure. It was a foggy morning and the fog did not want to give way to the sun. In order to bridge the time, I experimented with some functions of my camera. That's how this picture was taken. During the exposure I turned the zoom ring on my lens evenly. I took the second picture as normal and the camera offset the two pictures. So no Photoshop as you might think.

Mein Einblick in meine ganz persönliche Welt der Fotografie hat euch hoffentlich gefallen. Ich will damit aufzeigen, dass Fotografie weit mehr ist als nur Technik. Es ist für mich eine Form, Dinge die mir am Herzen liegen in Bildern darzustellen. Wenn der Betrachter meiner Bilder die Begeisterung spürt, mit der ich Augenblicke festhalte, ist das für mich wertvoll. Es zeigt mir, dass ich mit meinen Bildern etwas bewirken kann.

I hope you enjoyed my insight into my personal world of photography. I want to show that photography is much more than just technology. It is a form for me to show things that are close to my heart in pictures. If the viewer of my pictures feels the enthusiasm with which I capture moments, that is valuable for me. It shows me that I can make a difference with my photos.
