Hi everyone!
Today I will take you from our camping along the bay to the completely different setting. I must say that this site was the most unexpected and surprisingly beautiful place. Going from lush green scenery of Barossa Valley to dry landscape was very surprising and I never imagined that it could change so fast along the way. It's a hidden gem in a valley that not many people seem to know about, it has a refreshing spring and provides shelter. I really loved driving down the hill and be greeted by the amazing view.
This was one of our free accommodation sites, but it provided toilets ( in clean condition and toilet paper ) and some picnic tables, benches and 3 or 4 empty rubbish bins. It was very secluded and you could hear your own heart beat.
Since we have not been driving for that long on that day we enjoyed lunch and dinner there using our tested set up. We had a great food served with beautiful backdrop :)
For lunch I made whatever I had at hand, mince beef with carrot, capsicum and red beans in a tomato and onion sauce.
And for dinner we had succulent lamb made over hot charcoal with veggies :)
We were very exhausted after all the eating and it was time to relax with some wine watching the sunset.
Hope you enjoyed it
