The first edition of this week's post is quite interesting because it's what confronts us in the present world. Special appreciation goes to the management crew for helping us dig out some facts here. It took me a couple of minutes before I could drop something here.
The theme focuses on the issue of money and happiness and I decided to tilted it money versus happiness. Before I proceed, it's very important to explain the two key words even though the two words are very important on the life of human beings. Money and happiness are two distinctive words that are very important. It has a connection. There are many perspective to this matter though I feel everyone is entitled to his or her opinion concerning this.
Let me say that happiness involves what is around or an inner joy or peace. Money is essential for spending but it most be properly spent for the sake of accountability.
There is a school of thought that believes that money is what initiate or brings happiness. I think genuine happiness can't be purchased with money. There are things that money could do in the life of an individual such as provide comfort, security and other vital opportunities. Whereas happiness on the other hand constitutes of peace of mind, contentment etc. it's very important that one understands and have a balanced life.
Money is Good and needed in order to meet ends meet. Human being have some essential need such as shelter, food, etc all these things require money. If you don't have these you would be stranded and fear can grip someone. When you have good money you will be able to settle debts and other needs. Most people especially young lack good stability financially.
There are certain opportunities that gotten via money. Money can create opportunity. When you have Money, you can travel and do other things that will help us develop ourselves. Money alone. Money alone can't guarantee happiness.
There is limitation to what money could offer because human needs are surplus. Therefore I have not seen how money sold all the needs of man. The more we have the more we want to get more.
Happiness can change person. Wise and content individuals often use money as a tool to support meaningful goals rather than as the source of their identity. They spend on things that bring lasting value, such as helping others, investing in education, supporting family, and creating positive experiences.
As I draw conclusion, money versus happiness are connected, but they are not the same thing. Money is good because it provides security, comfort, and opportunities, especially for meeting basic needs. However, true happiness cannot be bought with wealth alone. Happiness comes from inner peace, healthy relationships, purpose, gratitude, and contentment etc. While money can improve life, it should never become the yardstick to measure success or joy. There is need to have a balanced life where money is used wisely to aid happiness rather than replace it. Have a wonderful week ahead.
Thanks
