Far Far away they start watching, my brothers and sisters
We have one father but learnt the language of our mothers
There was South, North, West or East. We were just travelers
But then came the colored man who told us we were all strangers.
Boundaries were made and title given
Without our knowledge, to our brothers we became burdens
Brother Brother Brother, remember our father lessons
But he said no, you’re south, he is west you’re enemies
Pain came, love lost and history was forgotten
New Doctrines, stories, education and lies were begotten
New culture, idea and language were spoken
But
Blood never lies, cause our DNA can not be broken.
We are from far away, but we are no strangers,
In our veins flows the legacy of our ancestors,
Though they tried to divide us with borders and dangers,
Unity resides in our collective endeavors.
So let us reclaim our shared heritage,
Embrace our differences and break down the barricades,
For in the end, we are bound by our common lineage,
Far and wide, we are family, not foes nor estranged.
