Finally paid for my competition dues for the October BJJ competition here in Cebu, Philippines and I paid for it with profits from cryptocurrency trading. This was my first real purchase from trading cryptos and it's kinda exciting. I started back again with cryptos last April after 3 years of buying a few satoshis of bitcoin and forgetting about it. In this past few months I've tried to absorb as much as I can about blockchain tech and cryptos but it's overwhelming. It feels like when I started BJJ, there was so much information that I needed to learn, there was a lot of jargon and subcultural norms that I needed to instill. But I just went with the flow. I knew that eventually I would get the hang of it. I'm just a little bit over 5 years in BJJ and I'm just now integrating the fundamental movements together as a cohesive whole. I'm looking at cryptos the same way. I will probably need to dedicate at least 5 years to get the basics down, then more years to achieve mastery. I started out just watching some videos and went from there. His techniques has served me well but now I need to learn more about trading, like technical analysis and such.
It's exciting. It's good to always have a beginner's mind, that way our brains don't atrophy. I look at learning new things as I would physical exercise, the more we we learn about new things the more we workout our brains.
Looking forward to this exciting future of crypto and BJJ.
