Yesterday (January 8th) was My Birthday - My Solar Return - MY...New Year. To my surprise, I awoke to find that the sky was gray and a gentle drizzle blurred the view outside my window — for the first time all season, it actually looked like winter. There’s something rather cozy and comforting about weather like that, ya’know?! It was the perfect day to not only stay inside, but to go within.
Still in my nightgown and knitted bunny slippers, I shuffled into the office and sat down at my computer to write an introductory post for the new blog that I’ll be doing this year. The first line read, “Hello! I’m Tiki.” Then, I sat. And, I sat. And…I sat some more. — 30 minutes later…
Ummmm. Yep!
Here’s the thing, I’m one of those people that knows a little bit about a lot of thangs! Believe me, I can talk my ass off! Sex, Drugs, Rock’N’Roll…been there and done that — there ain’t nothin’ off limits and that I won’t talk about, UNLESS…it’s about me!
Sadly, there I was now an hour later with my face planted in the palms of my hands, shaking my head, and asking myself, "Why is it so fucking hard to talk about myself?!"
Well, Folks! The fact of the matter is, even after all these years of self-development and spiritual inner work, I still deal with a lot of my own Bullshit!

Lol, Okay-Ok, all kidding aside - ya’know what I mean.
The crazy thing is, even though I’m pretty aware of a lot of my b.s., there are certain things that do not serve me that I consciously still allow to play out. — It doesn’t exactly make me proud to admit that, but…it’s the truth…at least at the moment.
Which reminds me of a quote:

Which leads me to the point of this particular post.
