The recuperation from our adrenaline rush rafting a 7m waterfall we had to recuperate for the next day but that did not mean sitting still.
We visited Wai-O-Tapu another of the famous geothermal parks and the location of the Lady Knoxx Geyser
I will put on a clip of the geyser going off when I am back home through Dtube but the hostel wifi’s does not really allow those big uploads
But i will share with you all the wonderfull colours of the thermal pools. We again had to endure the awful sulfur smell but by then it really wasn’t that bad anymore. I guess we kinda got used to it.
And then to the despair of my better half we came across the mud pools.
Why despair you say?
Well I got my eye glued to my camera trying my best to record the best mud fart. So imagine me sitting (even laying) on the ground twisting and turning my camera while she is impatiently tapping her foot next to me, waiting till I get my “perfect shot”
And the twist is, in the end I did not manage that “perfect shot” but I did get some cool ones.
