Hello Steemian friends, I'm back after a very busy week for the submission of school forms. After the checking of of the first periodical test, followed the two-day Intramurals that ended this afternoon.
On the second day, when almost all events were done, the afternoon was utilized for the so-called Laro ng Lahi. for teachers. We are more than 100 teachers so three teams were formed: Teams A, B and C. It was started with an on the spot Yell Competition where we had only given 5 minutes to practice. I belong to Team B.
The Laro ng Lahi includes *Basagan ng Palayok, Maria Went to Town, Train Run and Sack Race. All these made us so tired and enjoyed even those who can't participate with minor health problems. Joining the crowd of funny faces excitedly cheering their respective teams is enough to drain the stored energy which was only noticed when all events was done. Enjoy these pictures of Mactan National High School teachers.
Basagan ng Palayok
Teachers who are not gifted in terms of height were selected to be the participants to this game.
Maria Went to Town
Sir Parsumala never noticed his inverted umbrella which added the noise from thr crowd.
The Train Run
Each team competed without even noticed for their underwear already shown at the back especially when pants were pulled by by a co-player holding just not to break the train which may disqualify the team.
The Sack Race
We congratulated our team for being the winner in the Yell Competition and most of the games except the Basagan ng Palayok only which our team was not destined to win the gold. We were the overall champion, The Team B.
The truth is that teamwork is at the heart of great achievement.
