Today i was on duty at work i suppose to be at home but webhave some customers who borrowed money from our company that if i didnt go there they wont pay on time before their due date. Some will even use the holiday as an excuse and not pay their money. So i went there to collect their money and most people we deal with are business, market men and women. People who sell things.
In the process i took time to visit ipata market where tgey kill animals most especially cow though they sell other things but they name the place after the abattoir market.
The rate of people in the market are not that much though i was expecting alot of people in the market because of the festive period people should be buying and selling all kinds of things but maybe because of the cashless policy that affected people last month people are yet to balance.
Most people in the market who are have product and goods to sell are complaining bitterly about sales and also we are in the month of fasting which the muslim are undergoing could also be the cause of low sales in the market.
I went inside the market where they are selling fruits like watermelon in large quantity and this is my first time going there i never knew there could be a place where they will be selling watermelon in large quantity and even i saw a boy who came to back rotten watermelon i dont what he will use it for but i know that pig ,dogs and even goat will eat them.
Beside the watermelon spot is a place where they sell sweet potatoes which they have already placed in the sack and even some are placed in plastics which they are selling bit by bit.
People are ready to sell but people are yet to flood tge place to buy things for the feastive period. I hope things change tomorrow has people display their market.
I couldnt buy anything at the market because i dont have money to buy things at the market and guess most people have needs but dont have money to buy.
