We will be reading from the book of Mathew 2:1-23.
MEMORY VERSE: Unto you is born this day in the city of David a saviour" (Luke 2:11)
Long Long before the little baby Jesus was born in Bethlehem, God has promised his people that some day, he will sent his only son Jesus Christ to earth for us to be save.
They don't know how God in heaven would sent his son and how will he send him, but they believe him. God words can never be change because he is the same yesterday, Today and Forever. When he says a thing, that he will do. He is a god that always keep to his promises.

At last God kept his word as promised, there appeared one of the beautiful stars that they have never seen. this stars is strange and different from the others. A very remarkable stars that signifies a meaning about Christ. Jesus the star that shines brighter than any other stars in the sky.
The wise men watching it felt sure it must be the star sent to tell that Jesus was born. They were convince that Christ

Jesus was born and they all decided to follow to stars to meet with Christ. Although the distance was so long but they were prepared to meet with Christ.
They were ready for the long and hard Journey. The precious packages as Gifts for the baby Jesus were carefully packed. Their camels were given a big drink of water that would last them for several days. They started on their Journey.
The travelers looked up at the star. "come,follow me," it seemed to say , "and i will lead you to the newborn King. on and on it lead them. They traveled many weary miles.
When traveled a long distance until they came to a great city with high walls around it. They knew this must be Jerusalem. When they inquired of the king that was burn, they were directed to Bethlehem. They started on their Journey, the star went on before them leading them to the place where Jesus, the wonderful baby lay.
They found Jesus and his mother Mary, it was amazing. They fell down and worshiped him just as the shepherds had done. They gave him the costly gifts they had brought from home: gold. Frankincense and myrrh. This was their way of saying thank you to God for sending an helper for their sins.
They were so happy that Jesus has come to take away the sins of the world.

We are also happy that Jesus was born. Jesus grew up and became the saviour of the world. He did so much miracle on earth before he was nailed to the cross to die for us.
Today we also pray to Jesus and He saves us. he directs us and keeps us. Let us love him and follow him the way the three wise men. they were determine to meet with Jesus no matter the difficulties they undergoes when travelling. The distance was quite far but they were prepared to meet with Jesus Christ. They after every, their prayers was answered because they meant with the baby Jesus.
Let try to follow Jesus to the end.
