Dedication
To all men and women.
Some call her harlot,
Some whore, others b*tch
It wasn't her choice that she became so,
But the great burdens she carry on her back.
She wasn't educated so she married at fourteen,
But her husband left her after fifteen.
Her parents said they can't assist because of pauperism,
Searched for jobs, but they were not available.
She became a beggar but only raised a dollar in a fortnight,
Does not own a home and can't pay for rent.
Socially unacceptable feelings now run under her skin.
But she can still raise her children with deep passion.
Deep in her is unconditional maternal love,
You told her she is unemployable,
So she chose the streets.
That is where she made herself a victim of mass abuse.
Was it her choice to be that?
Yes she usually acts bad and drinks irresponsibly,
But have you understood where shes coming from?
Why judge her when you have not won her shoes?
Deep inside she has a warm heart,
Motherly deep love is found above her solar plexus,
Shes on a great mission, greater than the ocean.
The mothers of a future blessed leaders yet you have not seen.
Many have come and go
But the majority have done great deeds
Their hearts are filled with greater love for humanity
Their repentance is permanent and touching like the Prodigal Son.
I am not advocating harlotry here,
Just trying to reveal the other side of the backstreets
More good has come there but its not visualized, heard and perceived
Lets continue to respect women and their rights.
